Dear Friends and Well-Wishers,
We are a group of over 100 ex-students from the 1985/86 batch of St. Mary’s High School, Valiyakunnam, a rural school in Kottanad Panchayath, Pathanamthitta, Kerala. Today, we are spread across different parts of the world, working in various fields, but we remain connected by the fond memories of our school days. Recently, some of us reconnected through a WhatsApp group and even gathered at our old school. It was a joyful experience to revisit our roots and remember our friendships. At the same time, we were saddened to learn that a few of our batchmates are no longer with us, and some others are facing very difficult times. This inspired us to come together and create a charity fund.
** The purpose of this fund is threefold:
** Support for our batchmates (or their immediate families) who are struggling.
** Educational help for deserving students of St. Mary’s High School—this may include school supplies, scholarships, or job training support.
